Brett

 

Position: Director

 

Brett is head of marketing and 'The Penthouse' web master.

 

 

Melanie (srsh)

 

Position: Director / Senior Stylist

 

Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 and 3 in hairdressing, National Diploma of Hairdressing, Schwarzkopf and

Tigi Colour Technical, Tigi Product knowledge

 

Mel has been hairdressing 20 years she attended The Worthington Hair Training Academy and began her apprenticeship in hairdressing.

After graduating with a diploma from The Manchester Academy she developed her career  barbering, attending Schwarzkopf, Wella

and TIGI Colour and Product knowledge workshops,  covering all aspects of colour application and colour correction.

 

In 2011 Mel also became a State Registered Senior Hairdresser and is working towards

her goal of becoming an A1 Assessor and opening a training academy of her own.

 

 

Ellen

 

Position: Assistant Manager / Senior Stylist

 

Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 and 3 in hairdressing, Loreal and Schwarzkopf Colour Technical, Tigi Product knowledge.

 

Ellen began her hairdressing career as a Saturday girl in an Ormskirk town center salon, from this she soon knew hairdressing was

going to be her chosen career. Ellen began her apprenticeship at Herberts of Liverpool which working in a large town center salon.

There she qualified to NVQ Level 2 and went on to achieve her NVQ Level 3 advanced hairdressing qualification.

 

In 2011 Ellen joined our team at our old salon 'Cutting Edge' covering maternity leave but is now a full time, senior stylist

 here and attends professional specialist workshops to keep up to date with ever changing products and techniques.

 

 

Laura

 

Position: Senior Stylist

 

Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 and 3 in hairdressing, Schwarzkopf and Tigi Colour Technical, Tigi Product knowledge.

 

Laura joined us at 'Cutting Edge' back in 2006 as an apprentice where she qualified as a hairdresser with West Lancashire College.

 

Whilst with us at 'Cutting Edge' she went on to complete her NVQ Level 3, attended Tigi

product knowledge and Colour workshops and after 4 years became the assistant manageress.

 

 

Fiona

 

Position: Therapist / Nail Technician

 

Qualifications: TBC

 

Fiona has been a therapist for 5 years and has previously worked in a Liverpool City Center Salon and local Spa, Fiona has a

wide variety of skills including Semi Permanent Lashes, Hot Stone Massage, Indian Head Massage and much more...

 

 

Jo

 

Position: Senior Therapist / Nail Technician

 

Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 and 3 in beauty therapy, Sweedish Massage, OPI Nail Technician, Hot Lavashell Therapy, Mii Cosmetics Makeup Application, Cetuem Product Knowledge, Caflon ear piercing, Isabella Lancray product knowledge, The Penthouse Spray Tan Application (by a Sienna-x trained therapist)

 

Jo has been a therapist for 16 years and has previously worked in both Southport and Ormskirk salons, Jo's vast

experience and attention to detail are just a couple of the reasons why we are proud to have her here at The Penthouse!
